Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and Lantau Island

The journey took us some time, we arrived after 4 years! It's amazing, I've already lost hope, and yet the great running dream became a reality. Our qualifications for canceled due to the pandemic in 2020 year of the marathon have been transferred to the possibility of starting this year. The city opened to tourists only a year ago.

We landed on Lantau Island and immediately, as planned, we set out to explore the largest island. We planned to visit the Po Lin Monastery and the Tian Tan Buddha statue – one of the largest Buddha figures in the world.

Palm Beach, FL

We lived in Palm Beach, from the Ocean side

Its name is the island (and the city) owes it to the disaster of a Spanish sailing ship “Providence” in 1878 years. As a result, the beaches were covered with thousands of coconuts transported from Trinidad to Cadiz. 33 years later, in 1911, when Palm Beach obtained city rights, the island was a large palm grove.
