Crown of the Owl Mountains (Pilawa Gorna) and Jaworska Slice of Bread

This year's editions have been combined and the general classification of the stage race has been added.
This year, the first start took place as part of the Crown of its own mountains at Plac Piastów Śląskich in Piława Górna.
The weather was terrible, we arrived at the place from Wrocław in a downpour. Fortunately, it had stopped raining before the start and the sun even timidly came out during the race.
I knew, it will not be easy, but at least I knew the climbs to the Srebrna Góra and Woliborska passes.
The worst was the uneven surface, holes and “coarse” asfalt. I've reached the finish line, I was the only woman in the race… As usual, an ambulance followed us, Police, technical director and line of cars.
I had no hands to hold the prizes! The congratulations were endless. I was very happy and amazed at the same time, that no girl took up the challenge – the more, it's a four-year cycle (second race) and this year combined with Jaworska Pajda Bread.
The second day was no better. Dark clouds, showers and freezing cold. I was determined and I knew, I will finish the race. The judges and race director knew it too, who offered me a bonus in the form of 19 km. I agreed, but i have until now “moralian”.
It was hard for me and I felt in my legs 55 km of Owl Mountains. I covered the last flat kilometers to the finish line fighting the wind, driving to the max and trying to escape the cyclist. Udało się!

I am extremely happy and proud, for me it was the hardest race of the season and I didn't expect such a result. I feel a bit unsatisfied, but it didn't fall out “get a full house”. As I decided – I intend to take part in all editions of the Crown of the Owl Mountains – two more to go: Silver Mountain in 2024 and Pieszyce w 2025.
