Big Apple

a stopover in New York on the way to Boston.

After qualifying and accepting the entry for the Boston Marathon and looking at the map, a visit to New York became obvious. The more, We don't plan to run a marathon there. The tortuous road from Poland led through Boston (of course). We checked in at Apple in the evening in the Flushing district of Queens. Is one day enough? Of course, that no, but that's all we had. 17 hours on my feet and well over 20 km, metro, We managed to complete the ship and the entire sightseeing plan.

A walk to The Battery and a boat trip to the island with the Statue of Liberty with a mandatory visit inside the statue.

Returned, to look at N.Y. of 84, 86 in 102 floors of the Empire State Building. The highest and most “American” building, which is named after the nickname of the state of New York – Empire State.
The visit was stunning and fully lived up to expectations. Have New York at your feet – priceless.

We weren't the only ones tired.
