11. edition of the Three Towers Run in the heat, scorching sun and 377 competitors at the finish line.
Start at 10:00 it did not facilitate competition. I wasn't thinking about anything, I just had to finish, because it was going to be a run for survival. I got a bit back (as usual!) and we took off. Traditionally, I got pissed off at people in the first few meters, crowds and slow pace. We ran out into the streets and I was finally able to run my own. It was definitely too hot and I longed for the water and the announced firefighters “sikawek”. I scrupulously used every opportunity to cool down, including watering from a garden hose by the inhabitants of Prusice. I knew, that wheel 5 km to 6 you can count on a bit of shade and then to the finish line it's just fields and the sun right in your face. I was running and though it seemed to me, that slow, I did not push the pace in such conditions. The last kilometer, although I wanted to, did not accelerate. Only one girl overtook me on the route, I have not seen the leading women of women – she was at the front, before the finish line I heard – Gosia, run easy, there is no girl behind you.
Dobiegłam. The result showed nice, time and 3rd place in the category for these conditions. During the decoration it turned out, that I was 6 w OPEN (5 rewarded) and this way I was promoted to 1st place in the category.
I was surprised but also very pleased. A good run in such conditions.

For several seasons, Prusice has been trying very hard to win the love of runners and they seem to be succeeding, as indicated by the growing attendance. I keep my fingers crossed for the success of the events and reputation, although I preferred the more intimate ones, family jogging in Prusice.
