Start from the Market Square in Złoty Stok, we run through Marianna Orańska's Palace in Kamieniec Ząbkowicki, finish line in Zloty Stok.
Easy to say, worse than it should be. We eagerly signed up for the first edition of the Marianna Orańska Half Marathon, a new event and an unknown route were tempting. Having mastered the congestion and determined an alternative route to Złoty Stok at the appointed time, we checked in for the packages. It surprised us, what we got: t-shirt, tickets to the Palace of Marianna Orańska and a very rich set from sponsors and NO advertisements and papers!

We started from the market and after the honor round and 1 km loop along the cobblestones, we set off on the route to Kamieniec Ząbkowicki. Weather dopisywała, it was even too hot but you could enjoy the beautiful views. We ran off the asphalt towards the palace and walked around it with a path. The return journey follows the same route – we already knew what awaited us. Latest 5 miles was hard for me.

The route was not easy and flat. I liked the run and the organizers did a good job. I would prefer a loop, but I understand the problems with securing and excluding such a road from traffic, trudno. The route was well secured, The only thing that can be faulted is the small number of water points. The first was on 4,5 miles later 10 km (I used it 2x, The second time, after the turn, I brazenly ran against the current) and the last one on 4,5 km. For me, it was definitely not enough.

There was a medal and food at the finish line. The event was successful and fully deserved applause for the organizers.
