I never prepare for a specific competition and I do not have the most important start of the season, but exceptionally RunKayakBike was very important to me and I wanted the result.
Last year once again first This unusual triathlon was organized in Wieruszów, this time it was to overcome:
6 kilometers of running on dirt roads, forest and asphalt;
15 kilometers of cycling along the cross track;
3 kilometers of canoeing on the Prosna River.

This year, RunKayakBike organized the Municipal Sports and Tourism Center in Wieruszów together with the ORLEN Foundation.

I had the same plan for the run as for the first time – run as fast as possible and make a reserve so that you lose safely on the bike, canoe, depending on the situation, either chase or calmly swim to the finish line.
At the place turned out to be, that the starting point and the beginning of the run were slightly changed – Due to the newly commissioned track, we started from it and after the lap we ran on the already known trail route.

I was running fast, although at a fairly comfortable pace, I didn't look back. I fell into the transition zone and quickly got on my bike. This is my weakest phase of competition. I tried to go fast, although the route was not easy. I remembered her exactly from last year: piach, kamienie, two hills and one steep descent. I was worried about the bicycle, will it withstand such terrain and to avoid it “kapcia”. Traditionally, I ran two hills next to my bike – I think so faster and on the asphalt I was racing like in a time trial, because only there I could make up time. Immediately after the change, I was greedily drinking water from the water bottle, I did not go to the basket and on the first ones 200 meters I lost water.

I fought, I drove into the transition zone, put the bike away and grabbed the vest. I ran to the Prosna quay for canoes, on the way, I grabbed a cup of water. I focused on even work with the oar and looked for when I would reach the halfway point. I have already beaten 2 km distance by canoe, when I saw the next competitor. I already knew, that I will be first. I was very pleased and congratulations and information, I also got that I was the first woman from the passing participants and volunteers securing the shore.

Finally I swam to the bridge – water finish line. Koniec! I made it!
Maciek reached the shore shortly after me. We ate a delicious meal prepared by the organizers and exchanged impressions from the tour. I took the cup myself, We got medals in packages – Such times. The most important, that the competition took place at all.
I hope, that the third edition will take place. We will go to Wieruszów again with great desire, because these competitions are unique and have their own atmosphere. Organization and security are exemplary, nothing more can be required. But I am only concerned with the starting list and the participation of women. Due to the canoes, he can take part in the competition 50 people. This year it took off 48 players including 4 women. This is two less than last year, because there were us 6. It worries me very much – I was counting on more girls. I will not say, These professions are not easy, but competition and adventure give a lot of satisfaction.
