After the marathon in Tel Aviv knew, that Israel has not yet finished there and I want to run another marathon. Search websites ended up on the desert marathon in Eilat. He was to be for the year, maybe two, as the opportunity arises and no presented itself, this year!
The term race is perfect for our winter disenchantment, end of November, and more specifically the last Friday, medium temperature is then 25-30 degrees.
Booked early hostel, so that was near the start / finish line with the obligatory breakfast, who we chose guided experience in the Israeli escapade.
We arrived at the place to properly recover after the journey, acclimatized and still see something before the race.
The landscape around was delightful on the one hand, because the beautiful mountains and amazing colors but on the other hand, scary, because there was no greenery, only rocks, stones and sand: Negev desert. We already knew, it will not be easy marathon.

We went to the place, the hotel was a huge conglomerate indoor, but hardly anyone was oriented, where you can pick up the starter kits. Runners took office only, who purchased the entire stay packages. In the end it turned out, that changed the place of issuing packages finish on the promenade. The price given on this marathon 60 NIS, received information on site, that we redeem himself at the entrance to a restaurant 20.30 the price 70 NIS. The hotel and its restaurants do not encourage me more to purchase, and raising money was not fair. We found, that forgive, at least before the start of the wyśpimy and as late as on us, bo o 6 godzinie.
Organizationally, it is best not dropped, marathon in Tel Aviv in this respect was much better, and runners more “dopieszczeni”.
